Sybrand Mostert is the founder of CapitalSF Cyprus and an experienced international financial services professional whose career has included private client advice, offshore investment planning and cross-border financial matters.

During his career, Sybrand has worked with respected financial institutions including Standard Bank Offshore, Liberty Life and Holborn Assets. This experience has given him a strong understanding of the needs of individuals and families whose lives, assets and business interests extend across different jurisdictions.

Sybrand relocated from South Africa to Cyprus in January 2020, shortly before the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Having personally navigated the immigration, administrative and practical processes involved in establishing a new life in Cyprus, he understands the questions and uncertainties faced by clients considering a similar move.

His experience also extends across Cyprus, South Africa and the United Kingdom, providing a valuable international perspective when helping clients consider interconnected residency, property, business, tax and wealth matters.

Through CapitalSF Cyprus, Sybrand provides independent strategic guidance and coordinates relationships with trusted legal, tax, corporate, property and regulated financial professionals. His approach is personal and considered: understand the client first, identify the wider implications of each decision and ensure that the appropriate specialists are involved at the correct stage.
